The rear wheel drive S-Class saloon is truly another triumph from Mercedes. This is definitely a car for the discreet and image-conscious driver and its attractive sleek and curvaceous design easily makes it stand out from the crowd. Inside the vehicle, you will feel as though you are in your own little world, as double-glazed windows mean that not a decibel of wind-noise gets through, while the complete lack of road rumble will make you feel as though you’re driving on air.

There are a total of five different engines in this range. The 3litre petrol and diesel and 3.5 litre V6 varieties come in various guises and are excellent options to choose from. The standard diesel engines achieve a respectable 34mpg, but for true speed junkies the S65 AMG is easily the chariot of choice, reaching 62mph in less than 4.5 seconds.

When it comes to road handling, the S-Class comes into a league of its own. In standard mode, it is basically just a regular saloon, but switch on the ‘Optional Active Body Control’ and you will be truly at one with the machine. Anti-roll bars are adjusted, via the engines software and this makes a huge difference to the handling at both high and low speeds.

The engine and bodywork of the Mercedes S-Class is what has made this vehicle truly iconic for Mercedes and it wouldn’t be in keeping with the company’s strict protocol if the interior didn’t live up to such a high reputation. The level of comfort is what takes the S-Class into the ‘luxury’ category. Heated and massaging seats make any long journey an absolute pleasure, while acres of legroom in the back and front is sure to keep everyone happy. Even with all this spaciousness, the designers have still managed to squeeze in a 560litre boot.

It would be fair to say that there is no other car in this sector that can reach the bar set by the S-Class. When people think Mercedes, this is the model that will instantly come to mind, classic body shape, supreme comfort and blissful drivability. All combine to set this car way ahead of its closest competitors.

Having said all that, success doesn’t come cheap. With a price range of £53,879 to £144,880, this vehicle has become fairly exclusive and tax and insurance work to prevent make the S-Class being an attractive option for many. On the flip side, one great advantage of buying from Mercedes is that their products enjoy high residual values and the S-Class is sure to be on many people’s wish lists for many years to come.

If you want to have a small and stylish car at a low price, then leasing a Smart Fortwo Cabrio 71 bhp MHD Passion 2 Door is just right for you. This petite car is available on the Web site of Nationwide Vehicle Contracts. All you have to do is to get an online quote, then pay £509.85 for the initial payment and pay only £169.95 per month. If in stock, it only takes 7-14 days before they deliver this car to you. Vehicle leasing can save you several pounds on your monthly bill rather than paying off a monthly car loan.

This fabulous car is at its best when you hit the roads of the city. It has a 1.0-litre engine that runs on petrol and can produce power of 61bhp to 71bhp at top speed. However, if you feel like cruising at 84bhp, you can go for a turbocharged engine. Fuel economy is not a problem in this car because it has a micro hybrid drive system, which cuts the state-of-the-art engine during urban crawl and when the traffic light tells you to stop. This car is also environmentally friendly as it emits low quantities of carbon dioxide even if you cruise at top speed.

The Cabrio has features that come in its standard models, which include Electronic Stability Program (ESP) control, ABS brakes, front fog lights, rev counter, air-conditioning, and two airbags in the front. Looking at the back, you can see a spacious boot to contain your grocery and shopping bags during weekends.

Car leasing, especially a Smart Fortwo Cabrio, can give you a wonderful driving experience in the city.

This is the car that most readily comes into your head when someone mentions the word “Volvo”: big, solid, safe and practical. The new generation V70 is wonderfully spacious, with superb seats and a fabulous, ergonomically designed dash, pared to elegant simplicity. The boot offers 745 litres of space which extends to 1641 litres with the rear seats folded. And it isn’t just a box: inside the boot you’ll find nets, tie-downs and hooks in abundance, so you can keep whatever you’ve stowed from ending up looking like the aftermath of a burglary or a jumble sale at the end of the journey.

This is large, chunky estate so it clearly hasn’t been designed to hurtle along a racing circuit. But it gives a genteel, smooth ride and just isn’t remotely bothered about pretending to be sporty (even though there is a Sport model). The 2.0 litre petrol engine, to be frank, is punching above its build – it can’t quite deliver sufficient power. But the 2.0 litre diesel is very good and the top of the range T6 AWD superb. The front wheel drive handles well in a slightly workmanlike way but the four wheel drive has noticeably more tenacious traction; neither aim to be especially exciting but this car is exceptionally safe and reliable and not designed with thrill-seekers in mind. The new Volvo V70 is a lot less box-like and angular than its predecessor and looks distinctly classy.

If you are considering leasing a brand new Mini for your company or for yourself, you have to decide first what type of leasing or finance method you will choose in order to secure it. Two of the most popular vehicle leasing methods are contract hire and daily rental.

Among the most consistently availed Mini car leasing option is contract hire. Often, contract hire is considered the easiest method to manage and the most cost-effective. Basically, contract hire allows you to drive the car you leased as if you own it, but actually you don’t. Here, you will agree with the car management or owner, as to how long you can use the Mini, as stipulated in the contract. Once the contract expires, you will have to return the car.

What if you need the Mini for only a few days? Then, daily car rental solves your concern. This leasing option works the same as contract hire; however, daily rental works for a shorter period of time. Usually, in daily rentals, car companies outline and impose various rules with which the leaser has to comply.

Usually when taking out a daily rental you will have to comply with a number of rules outlined by the daily rental company. For instance, you will be compelled to drive the car only up to the mileage limit set by the company. You also have to return it in the same condition as you rented it; that is, you must make sure to fill up the car with the same amount of petrol when you return it as it had when you first rented it.

Toyota cars for lease are attracting customers who want a new car based on monthly payments, and this option seems more affordable than purchasing a new one. Toyota leasing services help make this happen.

With Toyota leasing, a customer can pay smaller monthly payments than financing a new car. The customer will have the flexibility of returning the vehicle to the leasing company at the end of the contract without any worries of selling it at the end. The Toyota lease has two aspects: the finance cost and the depreciation cost. The finance cost is the money interest that the Toyota Company has included in the customer’s car. In the depreciation cost, a part of the money is repaid through monthly payments, and the remainder is paid when the customer either returns the car or keeps it when the lease period has ended.

The company offers 24- to 60-month lease periods on brand new Toyotas and Toyota Certified Vehicles. The amount that the customer pays upon signing the lease may be lower at the start of the contract. This amount includes the first monthly payment, acquisition fee, security deposit (refundable), fees and taxes, and capitalised cost reduction, which is the same as a down payment.

At the end of the term of the lease, the customer will be charged for excessive wear and use. If the customer terminates the lease early, a termination charge will be required and this amount can be substantial.

Toyota leasing is a smart choice considering that when you lease, your payments only cover a portion of the car’s cost. Since you are paying to lease the car, you end up paying 30% to 60% less than if you were to purchase the car. If you want to drive a Toyota in an affordable way, leasing may be the right decision for you.

The original MPV, the Renault Scenic ignited a fierce competitive battle for this corner of the market when it rolled onto the tarmac for the first time – a battle which is just as intense today as it was then. It should get three cheers and a bottle of champagne for remaining one of the best examples of its type available even today.

This car floats serenely over uneven roads and the diesel models calmly manage motorway speeds without so much as breaking into a sweat. The five-seater is lavishly spacious but whilst the seven-seater adds a degree of versatility, third row seats are cramped and suitable chiefly for children. Boot space is acceptable rather than fabulous, but the general sense of space in the car is undeniable.

Today’s Scenics are vastly better in quality than their original ancestors. Interior plastics are soft to the touch and convey a strong sense of high-tech, stylish opulence. When it comes to the driving experience, its height and weight inevitably generate a slight tendency to ‘feel the roll’ when cornering, but the chassis is sturdy and firm and the road grip excellent.

You won’t get many votes for having the coolest car on the block, but you’ll get admiring looks from young and old all the same.

If you are thinking of leasing a Suzuki Grand Vitara Diesel Estate 1.9 DDiS 3dr, then Leasing Options offers you this precious car for an affordable lease price. All you have to do is to pay £808.62 for the initial rental and pay £269.54 per month, which would save you a lot of money when compared to paying off a monthly car loan.

Most features of this car are standard, and include air conditioning with climate control; an integrated CD player/radio with audio controls mounted on the steering wheel; front electric windows; reclining rear seats; tilt adjustable steering; folding and heated door mirrors; front fogs; alloys; and immobiliser. It has impressive and outstanding safety features such as curtain, front, and side airbags for the occupants in the front seat, as well as curtain airbags in the rear.

The Suzuki Grand Vitara has a lightweight monocoque structure along with a built-in and stiff ladder frame that gives the typical off-road vehicle look. As compared to its elegant 5-door model, the 3-door model has a ‘crouched’ muscular body that gives it a sporty personality. Moreover, it has a long wheelbase that allows a spacious cabin experience with rear and front legroom.

What’s under the hood is the diesel powered 1.9-litre engine that is capable of producing 129 PS power output and 221 lb ft of torque. This assures excellent driving experience whether on or off-road, fuel economy, and less CO2 emissions amounting to 195 g/km only.

Car leasing this 4×4 commuter vehicle from Suzuki will give value for your money while you enjoy its terrific features.

In recent years, it seems the good people at Mercedes Benz have been able to do no wrong, but one blip on their graph has been the monstrosity of a space wagon known as the R-Class. Mercedes are often looking for holes in the market to try and fill and have, for most of the time, achieved success. However, what the R-Class is trying to do; be a 4×4 six-seat family “Sports Tourer” is not going to appeal to many.

It would be harsh to judge the R-Class on looks alone, after all, it is clear that the manufacturer has put a lot of hard work into getting the best they could out of their creation and the engines and interior easily live up to the Mercedes standard. There are two 3litre engines, with either 190 or 272bhp, a 3litre V6 and a 5litre V8. Speed-wise this awkward looking vehicle will actually surprise many, as the R320 CDI can hit 134mph, while the R500 is capable of an impressive 150mph.

The road handling also appears out of character, as the R-Class feels amazingly nimble for its size, when taking tight corners. Being a 4×4, it is similar to the M-Class SUV when gripping the road and this is definitely one department where this model redeems some points.

The R-Class can also tick the boxes for space and comfort and will leave plenty of room in the back for a party of four or more. Folding down the back seats opens up an incredible 2,385litres of storage space for whatever your heart may desire.

So the R-Class is not as bad as it looks, although how it looks is the big problem. If you have been holding out to own your first Mercedes, you will be sorry if this is your introduction. The R-Class can commonly be seen dropping the kids off at the school gates or taking up two spaces in the supermarket car park, so if you have been anticipating using it as a trendy “sports” vehicle, then think again.

The R-class is not too friendly on the pocket either and achieves poor fuel economy across the board; for example the 280 V6 CDI only makes 32mpg. It also falls heavily into the high tax bracket and insurance isn’t cheap either. For anyone who is considering this model, a price range of £35,283 to £73,300 should help make your mind up for you.

This MPV is not quite a stunner but it has some very worthy features, including surprisingly good handling, comfort and space, and pleasing design.

There is a great deal of space-versatility on offer in this seven seater – the passenger seats fold and collapse as you please and there’s more than adequate leg and head room for passengers and driver alike. It’s not huge, but it is adaptable and it’s certainly not cramped. For an MPV, this model drives astonishingly well. You’ll experience very little roll whilst driving thanks to the relatively low level of the cabin, and the steering is superbly responsive. With a Volkswagen diesel engine, you’re also guaranteed excellent quality.

MPVs have a reputation for being charmless and cumbersome; the Mitsubishi Grandis is not guilty on both charges. It has a distinctive elegance about it and it is not remotely difficult to manoeuvre. Both the petrol and the diesel engines take a slightly tardy 11 seconds to hit 60 mph but MPV drivers are unlikely to want to burn rubber and tear up the tarmac anyway. For city driving, it’s perfect, and it looks classy, too. And least the diesel offers superb fuel efficiency. This car is proof that MPV snobbery, if taken too far, can deprive you of an exceptional drive and a versatile vehicle.
